DESIGN ENGINEER

Design mechanical structures and systems for truck mounted equipment that meet the applicable standards, perform analysis, and develop new products using 3D solid modeling software.

Requirements

• Ownership of design and analysis of mechanical structures and components.
• Deep understanding of Bill of Material (BOM) structures.
• Proficient in engineering design software – 3D and 2D (SolidWorks and AutoCAD preferred).
• Understanding and use of MRP/ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Epicor, Infor, xetc).
• Ability to identify complex build challenges and implement solutions quickly and correctly.
• Ability to weld.
• Ability to understand 12V electrical systems.
• Ability to understand hydraulic plumbing systems.
