Job Description
This position is responsible for the operation, staging, loading and unloading of heavy and light duty trucks and equipment. The position also consists of maintaining the appearance of the yard/branch, assisting mechanics, drivers or other staff with various labor-based tasks and completing other daily assignments that support the branch operations.
Requirements
- Mechanical aptitude
- Adapting to changing work priorities; Meeting deadlines and schedules
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Pride in quality workmanship
- Must have a valid driver's license; CDL a plus
- High school diploma or the equivalent; GED
- Knowledge of utility and/or vocation vehicles and familiarity with operating systems
- Communicate and convey information effectively
- Must have a strong attendance record
- Forklift driving experience a plus
- Proven commitment to safety
