Customs Agent (Declarant) role at Customs Support Group, handling day-to-day customs declarations and compliance tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Secondary education or higher, preferably in Logistics, International Trade, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a customs agent or in similar roles within customs brokerage, logistics, or transportation.
- Licensed Customs Agent certification in Poland/EU, with practical knowledge of Polish customs operations (e.g., VAT on imports, temporary imports, restricted goods handling).
- Familiarity with international customs practices, including WTO valuation methods, harmonized system (HS) codes, and trade agreements like CETA.
- Experience with customs software and automation tools, such as IDP for document processing.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure; proficiency in Polish and English (spoken and written); basic computer skills for systems like AIS/IMPORT PLUS.
