Job Description
Avionics Technicians are responsible for the operation and maintenance of aircraft avionics systems. This role involves performing routine maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, modification, installations, and component removals. They need to adhere to FAA regulations, manufacturer's instructions, and company procedures. The role requires strong technical aptitude and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate (preferred)
- Federal Communication Commission (FCC) License (optional)
- Two or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong understanding in 145 repair station operations/regulations required.
- Strong understanding of aircraft that are worked by this location
- Must have a clean driving record.
- Able to pass a background check.
- Ability to pass a drug screening test.
