Medical Scribe

As a Medical Scribe at Oak Street Health, you'll support our primary care providers with clinical documentation so they can focus on exceptional patient care. This is an excellent opportunity for pre-med track individuals looking to gain practical experience in a clinical setting.

Requirements

• Medical terminology and common medications knowledge
• Prior clinical experience, including shadowing and/or volunteering
• Strong computer literacy and ability to learn new technical workflows
• Fluency in Spanish, Polish, Russian, or other languages spoken by people in the communities we serve
• Ability to adapt to new workflows and quickly learn new concepts and skills
• Ability to type 70+ words per minute
• Ability to commit to at least 1 year in role
• Ability to work approximately 40-45 hours per week during clinic hours
