Medical Scribe

Join CVS Health and Oak Street Health as a Medical Scribe to support primary care providers and gain clinical experience. Document patient encounters, improve clinical documentation, and provide administrative support.

Requirements

• Detail-orientation and high levels of accuracy
• Minimum typing speed of 55 WPM, though 70+ WPM is strongly preferred
• Recent graduate or current student of a Healthcare-based degree program
• Commitment of 1-2 years to the position
• Excellent job attendance and ability to work 40-45 hours per week
• Knowledge of medical terminology and common medications
• Prior clinical experience, including shadowing and/or volunteering
• Advanced listening and communication skills
• Strong computer literacy and ability to learn new technical workflows
• Ability to work well on your own and take direction as a member of the team
• Ability to adapt to new workflows and learn new concepts and skills
