Medical Scribe

We are seeking a Medical Scribe to support our primary care providers with clinical documentation. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of medical terminology, prior clinical experience, and excellent listening and communication skills. The role requires a commitment of at least 1-2 years and involves documenting patient encounters, consulting with providers, and performing administrative tasks.

Requirements

• Knowledge of medical terminology and common medications
• Prior clinical experience, including shadowing and/or volunteering
• Prior scribe or transcription experience
• Advanced listening and communication skills
• Strong computer literacy and ability to learn new technical workflows
• Fluency in Spanish, Polish, Russian, or other languages spoken by people in the communities we serve
• Ability to adapt to new workflows and to quickly learn new concepts and skills
• Ability to type 70+ words per minute
• Ability and willingness to take direction and be a member of a team providing patient care
• Ability to be a self-starter within your role scope
• Excellent job attendance and ability to work in-person in our clinics
• Ability to commit to at least 1 year in role (2+ is ideal)
• Ability to work approximately 40-45 hours per week during clinic hours
