Oak Street Health New Graduate Nurse Practitioner Fellowship

Oak Street Health is offering a 12-month paid fellowship program for new graduate nurse practitioners to become highly confident and competent clinicians for older adults. The program is in collaboration with the University of Michigan School of Nursing and provides a comprehensive education and training to build patient panels, learn from preceptors, and engage in didactic content.

Requirements

• Family, adult, or adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioners
• Must currently reside in, or be willing to relocate to, the Fellowship program location for at least the next two years
• Have not yet worked as an NP
• Minimum of one year experience, within the last five years, working as an adult RN
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 in NP program
• Have passed, or in the process of, passing NP board examinations by 6/6/2026
• Currently holds or will hold by 8/3/2026 an active, non-probationary state NP license
• A genuine passion for adult primary care
• A supportive attitude toward our patient population of older adults
