Pharmacy Technician

Requirements

• Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy
• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state
• Must be able to complete required training within designated timeframe
• Must have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
• Must have attention and focus to complete tasks over a period of time
• Must be able to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues
• Must have mathematical reasoning skills to solve problems
• Must be able to identify and resolve challenging patient or colleague interactions
