Pharmacy Technician

CVS Health is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy teams in delivering operational and service excellence within the store. The role involves assisting patients and customers, filling prescriptions, and providing excellent service. The Pharmacy Technician will also have the opportunity to participate in immunizations and other patient health care services.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state
• Age requirement: at least 16 years old (if not mandated by state board of pharmacy)
• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
• Attention and Focus: ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time and pivot quickly from one task to another
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: actively look for ways to help people and respond appropriately to patients' reactions
• Communication Skills: use and understand verbal and written communication to interact with patients and colleagues
• Mathematical Reasoning: ability to use math to solve a problem, such as determining the total number of tablets to dispense
• Problem Resolution: identifying challenging patient or colleague interactions and choosing the best course of action
