Software Packaging Coordinator

CVS Health is seeking a highly organized and technically fluent Software Request & Packaging Coordinator to join its fast-paced corporate IT environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of software packaging processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-visibility role.

Requirements

• Serve as the main point of contact for business users submitting software requests
• Guide requestors through the end-to-end process—from initial submission and technical review to packaging, UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and production release
• Coordinate with packaging engineers, security teams, and application owners to ensure all software meets organizational standards and compliance requirements
• Track, document, and report on request status, dependencies, and timelines using internal tools and systems
• Facilitate UAT coordination, feedback collection, and final deployment sign-offs
• Identify and resolve issues or bottlenecks quickly to maintain delivery timelines
• Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, providing updates on progress, risks, and resolutions
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of common business software, packaging technologies (e.g., MSI, App-V, Intune, SCCM), and IT service management tools
• Support continuous improvement of request and packaging workflows, focusing on efficiency and user experience
