Education Liaison

The Education Liaison serves as a vital link between our behavioral health facility and local schools, facilitating communication and collaboration regarding student attendance, treatment length, and academic progress. This role also provides essential support to students within our facility, assisting with online school programs and leading therapeutic activity groups.

Requirements

• Act as the primary point of contact between our facility and schools regarding student attendance, treatment progress, and discharge planning related to academic needs.
• Monitor student attendance and collaborate with site therapists and school staff to address attendance concerns.
• Work closely with the treatment team and school personnel to facilitate a smooth transition back to school upon discharge, including coordinating the exchange of necessary academic and treatment information.
• Provide direct support to students in accessing and navigating their online school programs.
• Lead engaging assigned programming for adolescents, fostering a positive and supportive environment.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all interactions with schools, students, and families, including attendance records, progress notes, and communication logs.
