Job Description
We are seeking a Jr. & Sr. Scala Developer to join our team for a 6-month contract. The ideal candidate will have a Computer Science degree and experience with Scala, Linux shell scripting, SQL, and strong interpersonal skills.
Requirements
- Design, code, and test solutions for a major, global re-platforming effort
- Incubate new ideas with working code for proof of concept
- Travel to other IMS global offices is possible
- Work with 6 sizable development teams
- Code review and walkthrough
- Coordinate interfaces and APIs (ReST and Scala) between the teams
- Answer questions from the development teams on the platform
