Job Description
D & G Machine Products, Inc. is seeking a Machinist – Large Lathe to perform precision machining operations for a variety of industries. The role involves programming, operating a CNC lathe, troubleshooting, maintaining quality, and ensuring safety. The company has been servicing customers for over 50 years and offers opportunities for advancement within the organization.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-year technical college degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years’ related CNC large lathe experience preferred
- Spray welding experience a plus
- Ability to program on the machine using Fanuc control
- Experience with rigging using large bridge cranes
- Knowledge of proper use of measuring tools/gauges and cutting tools
- Strong organizational, problem solving, and analytical skills
- Must pass a post-employment offer drug screen and background check
