The Industrial Painter is responsible for cleaning, preparing, and painting surfaces of manufactured products. The Industrial Painter cleans nozzles, containers, and hoses of paint machines, adheres to safety standards and regulations, and assists with preparing the final product for shipment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1-3 years of industrial or automotive paint experience preferred
- Ability to operate airless and air spray equipment and ability to mix paint
- Ability to interpret blueprints and specifications required
- Must be able to work in a team-based environment
- Ability to maintain accurate records and have a strong attention to detail
- Must be able to wear a respirator, have excellent dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to comprehend paint manufacturers recommendations regarding proper mixing techniques and layering drying times
- Must be able to distinguish among colors
- Must pass a post-employment offer drug screen and background check
