Job Description
D.R. Horton, Inc. is looking for an Associate Region Counsel to provide support and advice on legal matters related to land acquisition, development, and disposition, as well as review and revise contracts, safety programs, and handle disputes.
Requirements
- Provide legal advice related to land acquisition, development, and disposition
- Review and revise homebuyer contract documents
- Review and revise subcontractor contract documents and handle disputes
- Review safety programs, review and revise manual and written policies, and handle safety issues including OSHA
- Provide advice regarding legal issues in construction and warranty
- Coordinate outside counsel as necessary
- Review marketing contracts and programs and drafting documentation as necessary
- Provide advice regarding various region matters
- Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner
