Control System Test Engineer I

D-Wave is seeking a Control System Test Engineer I to join our Hardware engineering team. The successful applicant will gain experience learning microwave engineering techniques and working on complex FPGA based control systems for quantum computing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, or engineering physics, or equivalent training and experience
• Strong python competency and willingness to learn RF engineering skills
• Experience operating microwave test equipment like VNAs, Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes and other meters
• Experience with assembly and test of microwave subassemblies
• Willingness to learn from others and grow into the role, developing new skills over time
• Strong critical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills
• Strong written & verbal communication
• Willingness and interest in learning microwave/RF engineering concepts and seeing a broad range of projects
