Job Description
As a tool technician, you will be responsible for the entire tool cycle, from procurement to warehousing to process-safe provision at the shop floor. You will ensure transparency, cost-effectiveness, and minimal tool and consumable downtimes and thus significantly contribute to the efficiency and scalability of our production.
Requirements
- Completed training as a tool machinist, industrial mechanic, precision mechanic, or equivalent
- Further education as a state-approved technician (machine or production engineering) or industrial master of metal is an advantage
- At least 3-5 years of professional experience in cutting (turning/milling)
- In-depth knowledge of CAD/CAM systems and CNC processes
- Very good technical understanding in the field of tools and clamping technology
- Experience in working with tool management systems is an advantage
- Knowledge in measurement technology and technical feasibility analysis
- Well-developed economic thinking and understanding of tool costs and lifecycle analysis
