Job Description
The Custodian position assists in maintaining schools and facilities by providing effective and efficient cleaning and custodial support services.
Requirements
- Follow directed cleaning schedule
- Keep school/building and grounds neat and clean
- Secure assigned area at the end of work shift
- Removal and disposal of trash
- Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Comply with the Texas Hazardous Communications Act
- Wear appropriate custodial uniform and District issued ID badge
- Regular attendance and punctuality at work
- Work shift flexibility
- Maintain good public relations and communications
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and comprehend documentation
- Demonstrated ability to operate cleaning equipment
- Demonstrated ability to lift or exert force of up to 50 pounds
- Demonstrated skill in cleaning methods and procedure
