Job Description
Perform electrical work in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to national and municipal electrical codes. Troubleshoot, test, and repair electrical equipment and components, and maintain district vehicles. Communicate effectively with department heads and maintenance personnel.
Requirements
- High School diploma or USA equivalency
- Four (4) years of work-related experience in an electrical field
- Valid Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation Journeyman Electrician License
- Ability to pass the asbestos physical and obtain certification within 90 days after the hire date
- Valid Texas driver’s license and a driving record that meets District’s standard
- Ability to communicate in Spanish is a plus
