Job Description
Media Specialist to lead the school library/media center and programs, ensuring students are effective users of information. Supervise and manage library resources, provide instructional access, and create an environment conducive to learning. The Media Specialist will also supervise Media Assistants, student aides, and work with teachers to integrate library resources into instructional programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a directly related field
- Valid Texas Library certification
- Two years as a highly qualified teacher
- Bilingual skills
- Working knowledge of library and information science
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
