The Special Education- Inclusion Teacher will collaborate with students, parents, and staff to develop IEPs, implement instructional programs, and modify curricula as needed. They will also conduct assessments, manage student behavior, and consult with teachers and district resources.
Requirements
- Collaborate with students, parents, and staff to develop IEPs
- Implement instructional, therapeutic, or skill development programs
- Work cooperatively with classroom teachers
- Employ various instructional techniques and media
- Conduct ongoing assessments of student achievement
- Manage student behavior and administer discipline
- Consult with classroom teachers and district resources
- Keep informed of federal, state, district, and school regulations and policies
- Regular and punctual attendance at the worksite
