Job Description
We are seeking a Lead Data Engineer with 8+ years of experience in cloud-native solutions and data architecture. The ideal candidate should have strong technical leadership experience and proficiency in Microsoft technologies, as well as other cloud platforms.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on cloud-native solutions and data architecture
- Strong experience in end-to-end data architecture and design
- Proficiency in cloud-native engineering, with a focus on Microsoft technologies
- Hands-on experience with data warehousing and data lake solutions
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, or Spark
- Strong knowledge of RDBMS or NoSQL databases
- Experience with DevOps/DataOps practices
- Ability to implement data validation, lineage, documentation, and monitoring at scale
- Proven ability to optimize pipelines and storage solutions for performance, cost, and reliability
- Strong technical leadership experience
- English proficiency at B2 level
- Availability for a hybrid work model, 2 times a week in the Lisbon office
