Job Description
The Engineering Coordinator will be responsible for setting up and maintaining part numbers in the MRP system, quoting new parts and engineering changes, and performing various analytical and reporting tasks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5+ years of Manufacturing/Engineering or Industrial Engineering experience preferred
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time
- Ability to work under and meet deadline constraints
- Ability to work flexible schedule as work load dictates
- Detail oriented with strong analytical skills
- Must understand the manufacturing systems and the parameters needed to accurately track and measure performance for a given part
- Good communication skills to communicate with customers, suppliers, and Dana personnel
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as customer specifications, technical procedures, and regulations
- Familiar with or able to learn PLM
- Ability to learn customer databases
- Ability to do mathematical conversions using multiple units of measure
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel/SAP/PLM/Autocad
- Ability to work with little supervision
