Aero-Thermal Engineer

Job Title: Aero-Thermal Engineer, design and validate centrifugal compressor technology, collaborate with R&D engineers and cross-functional teams, lead aero-thermal evaluation of centrifugal compressor performance, analyze and process aero-thermal test data, document results in technical reports and share findings with stakeholders.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field
• Hands‐on experience applying advanced fluid mechanics in real engineering environments
• Background in designing or optimizing centrifugal compressors for industrial applications
• Practical experience with tools such as CFD (e.g., CFX, NUMECA), 1D mean‐line codes (e.g., COMPAL), and CAD/CAE software
• 3+ years of experience applying advanced fluid mechanics in engineering practice
• 3+ years of hands-on experience designing industrial centrifugal compressors
• Experience with refrigeration system thermal cycle analysis
• Hands-on experience with compressor or chiller testing in a laboratory environment
• Experience contributing to improvements or optimization of compressor testing setups or lab capabilities
