The Maintenance Mechanic must possess the desire and ability to maintain all plant equipment. As a member of the Idaho team the Maintenance Mechanic will be a partner in the Operations Division. The Maintenance Mechanic’s role is to perform repairs and preventative maintenance on all plant equipment.
Requirements
- Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines
- Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance
- Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment
- Proficient in process instrumentation including troubleshooting, preventative maintenance and calibration
- Read, understand and troubleshoot using electrical schematics
- General electrical troubleshooting of 24v, 110v, 220v and 480v systems
- Understand the theory behind process flow
