Full-Time 3rd Shift Mobile Crisis Therapist $1500.00 sign on bonus

The Mobile Crisis Therapist provides face-to-face crisis intervention and assessment services to individuals in need of this service in Darke, Miami, and Shelby counties. The position requires a working knowledge of mental health symptoms, lethality risk assessments, and crisis counseling techniques.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of mental health symptoms and how they present in crisis situations
• Ability to perform lethality risk assessments and mental status examinations
• Knowledge of the methods and techniques of professional crisis counseling, de-escalation techniques, suicide prevention models and procedures for voluntary/involuntary hospitalization
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees
• Knowledge of community resources available to clients served
