Signal Maintainer

The Signal Maintainer position is responsible for the maintenance and repair of signal systems for the Dallas Area Rapid Transit's (DART) Ways, Structures & Amenities Division. The role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining signal equipment, as well as troubleshooting and analyzing data. The position requires strong technical knowledge and skills, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with variable shifts and irregular hours.

Requirements

• Install, repair, and maintain signal equipment
• Troubleshoot and analyze data
• Maintain and repair fiber optic networks
• Work with electrical equipment and voltages
• Use computers, laptops, and tablets for troubleshooting and diagnostics
• Support other sections or departments within DART
• Maintain safety, training, and quality assurance programs
• Communicate with Rail Operation Control
• Perform other related duties as assigned
