RF Microwave Design Engineering Manager

The RF & Microwave Design Engineering Manager will lead an engineering team in designing and developing complex microwave/RF components and assemblies for defense and space applications. The role involves managing team development, new business proposals, and product design, development, and production release. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with RF/MW design tools and technologies, as well as strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with devices, circuitry, and systems operating at RF, microwave, and millimeter-wave frequencies
• Ability to design circuitry for high frequency receivers, transmitters, and signal generation
• Experience with design tools such as MWO, ADS, HFSS, Sonnet, Spice, or Cadence
• Knowledge of signal routing and packaging technologies for devices and subassemblies
• Ability to conceptualize initial component and system designs with schematics and block diagrams
• Previous experience managing & developing technical employees
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to use Matlab, Mathcad, or programming languages to perform complex analyses
• Proficient with electrical design software such as AWR’s Microwave Office or ADS
