Senior Software Engineer - Backend

Databricks is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Backend to build infrastructure and products for the Databricks platform at scale. The successful candidate will work with a team to build reliable and high performance services and client libraries for storing and accessing large amounts of data on cloud storage backends.

Requirements

• BS (or higher) in Computer Science, or a related field
• 3+ years of production level experience in one of: Java, Scala, C++, or similar language.
• Experience developing large-scale distributed systems
• Experience working on a SaaS platform or with Service-Oriented Architectures
• Good knowledge of SQL
