Job Description
Databricks is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Backend) to build the AI/ML Environments team. This team focuses on setting up training and serving environments for AI researchers and engineers, collaborating with teams to improve platform features, and shaping how developers interact with AI on Databricks. Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in backend or infrastructure engineering
- Strong programming skills in Python, Scala, or Java
- Experience with distributed systems and scalable APIs
- Strong understanding of service-oriented architecture, deployment pipelines, and system observability
- Strong understanding of dependency management technologies
- Experience with containerization technologies
