Senior Software Engineer - Database Engine Internals

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design and develop next-generation database systems that leapfrog state-of-the-art in areas such as query compilation, distributed query execution, and vectorized execution. The ideal candidate will have a passion for database systems, storage systems, and performance optimization, and be comfortable working towards a multi-year vision with incremental deliverables.

Requirements

• A passion for database systems, storage systems, distributed systems, language design, or performance optimization
• 5+ years of experience working in a related system
• Optional: PhD in databases or distributed systems
