Senior Solutions Architect - Lakebase

The Solutions Architect (Lakebase) team executes on Databricks' strategic Product Operating Model to establish product market fit and set the course for rapid revenue growth. They work in partnership with direct account teams to engage clients, position the product line, and provide compelling reasons for adoption and growth. The team requires core technical competencies in transactional database (OLTP) expertise, influencing OLTP products, and architecting solutions that integrate transactional data systems within broader Big Data, Lakehouse, and AI ecosystems.

Requirements

• 10+ years of transactional database (OLTP) expertise
• Credibility in influencing OLTP products with market insight
• Experience architecting solutions that integrate transactional data systems within broader Big Data, Lakehouse, and AI ecosystems
• 6+ years in a customer-facing, pre-sales or consulting role
• Proven ability to co-plan large territories with Account Executives
• Proficient in programming, debugging, and problem-solving using SQL and Python
• Hands-on experience building solutions within major public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Broad experience across data engineering, data warehousing, AI, ML, governance, transactional systems, app development, and streaming
