Solutions Architect

As a Solutions Architect, shape the future of the Data & AI landscape by working with data engineering and data science teams, and help customers achieve data-driven outcomes through the Databricks Lakehouse Platform. Collaborate with sales, product, and engineering teams to develop architectures and solutions using the platform, and guide customers through the competitive landscape, best practices, and implementation. Work directly with the sales team to develop your book of business, define account strategies, and execute those strategies to help your customers and prospects solve their business problems with Databricks.

Requirements

• 8+ years in a data engineering, data science, technical architecture, or similar pre-sales/consulting role
• 8+ years of experience with Big Data technologies, including Apache SparkTM, AI, Data Science, Data Engineering, Hadoop, Cassandra, and others
• Strong consulting / customer facing experience, working with external clients across a variety of industry markets
• Coding experience in Python, R, Java, Apache SparkTM or Scala
• Experience building distributed data systems
• Have built solutions with public cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Available to travel to customers in your region
