Job Description
DataCamp is seeking a Curriculum Manager - Software Engineering to build and develop their software engineering curriculum. The ideal candidate will have experience in full-stack web development, instructional design, and software engineering education.
Requirements
- Proven full-stack web development experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Typescript
- Hands-on experience with JS/TS backend frameworks such as Express or Next.js and familiarity with front-end frameworks like React
- Experience with modern JS tooling such as npm and yarn, automated testing using frameworks such as Jest, and methodologies as Test-Driven Development (TDD) and/or Behavior-Driven Development (BDD)
- Strong expertise in instructional design, with proven experience designing, structuring, and teaching technical courses, and creating interactive, hands-on learning experiences
- Graduate degree (Master’s or PhD) in Computer Science, AI, or a related STEM field, or equivalent industry experience
- Ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
- Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and urgency
