Associate Cybersecurity Consultant

We are seeking an Associate Cybersecurity Consultant to join our team in Wellington, New Zealand. The successful candidate will work closely with clients to deliver cybersecurity strategies, analyze customer environments, and provide operational management oversight. The role involves providing cybersecurity advice, assisting with risk management activities, and participating in incident response and tabletop exercises.

Requirements

• Proven years of experience in an IT Security or Cybersecurity role
• At least 5+ years of experience in general IT
• Technical background in security/networking, compute, cloud and general IT
• Experience with using popular vulnerability scanning tools
• Experience within a complex organisation or a Managed Services provider
• Strong knowledge of information security topics
• Experience in conducting security risk assessments and risk management
