Manager I, Developer Advocacy

Developer Advocates at Datadog are engineers who share their expertise with practitioners across the community - customers and non-customs alike. As an Engineering Manager I on the Advocacy team, you will be a key people and technical leader. You'll manage a small team of Developer Advocates focused on Application Development and Performance, driving value in developer communities while championing modern software development practices

Requirements

• Lead a team of Developer Advocates, guiding their work priorities, identifying new career opportunities, and fostering a positive, high-performance culture
• Contribute to defining the team's OKRs (objectives and key results) and team strategy, driving the execution of these
• Ensure your team consistently ships high-quality output, removing technical and procedural roadblocks to help them do their best work
• Strike a balance between management and hands-on delivery, contributing high-quality technical content (e.g., videos, talks) as needed to support the team, represent Datadog, and stay in touch with the work
• Work across various internal teams, including Product, Engineering, and Marketing to ensure they are supported across the growing number of Advocacy initiatives and help prioritize requests
