The Strategic Account Executive is a crucial role in Datadog's business strategy, focusing on acquiring new customers and expanding their usage over time. This position requires identifying challenges faced by clients in large-scale cloud environments and providing optimal Datadog solutions to address these challenges. Requirements
- More than 5 years of experience in field sales, handling medium to large-sized clients
- High motivation for achieving goals, with experience in direct sales, achieving sales of over $100,000 per month, and reaching sales targets of over $1 million
- Ability to find and prospect new customers, build pipelines, and execute methods
- Experience working in companies with innovative technology (SaaS, Cloud, Infrastructure, or similar fields)
- Sales experience in Fortune 1000 companies, with the ability to win new clients
- Ability to grow and learn skills in technology
