Job Description
We are seeking a Satellite Communications Technician - OR to support the U.S. Army Project Manager Tactical Network (PM TN) Global Field Service Representative (FSR) Support Services program, performing a wide range of activities associated with the day-to-day support for the operation and maintenance of a teleport site.
Requirements
- US Citizenship
- US DOD Secret Clearance
- Valid current US Passport
- Bachelor's degree in System Engineering
- Three years of experience in communications software, hardware, or networks
- Experience with ATM, frame, relay h bridges, routers, gateways, FDDI, and UNIX operating systems
- Knowledge of strategic SATCOM terminals: C, Ku, X, and Ka bands
- Effective interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
