Admission Counselor

The Admission Counselor role is a vital member of Davidson’s Office of Admission and Financial Aid, responsible for identifying, attracting, and enrolling students, and managing all recruiting aspects of an assigned territory. The role involves building and maintaining relationships with prospective students, high school counselors, and community-based organizations, and requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Valid United States driver's license
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and problem solve as challenges arise
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an interest in public speaking
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Empathetic, good-humored and professional demeanor with excellent customer service skills
• Appreciation for and sensitivity to a diverse academic community
• Willingness to learn and grow
