We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst to partner with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into clear functional and technical requirements. The role involves analyzing existing systems, workflows, and data flows to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. The successful candidate will work closely with developers, QA, architecture, and infrastructure teams to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years experience with a proven track record of working in a technically complex environment
- Demonstrable achievements in managing & delivering solutions to complex business requirements
- Very strong technical skills and a desire to progress to becoming a lead technical analyst/architect
- Strong experience in systems analysis, technical design, solutions development and deployment with a proven track record of playing a key role
- Ability to maintain productive and cordial relationships with a wide range of stakeholders at various levels of seniority across the organisation
- Experience in working with 3rd party system solution providers
- Knowledge of financial markets and particularly Wealth Management systems an advantage
- Knowledge of business intelligence and development tools such as Python, Power BI, SQL query skills
- A proven track record of working in multi-disciplined project environments
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written with the ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills working in a pressurised environment dealing with time critical issues
- An ability to prioritise workloads and achieve critical deadlines
- Experience of drafting comprehensive test scripts & use cases and executing test plans
- Strong facilitation and influencing skills
- A relevant Third Level degree (or equivalent)
- Experience working with both Waterfall and Agile project delivery methodologies
- Experience working with a CRM is advantageous
- Experience working within the financial services industry is required
- Proficiency in Business Process Mapping techniques; supporting accreditations (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, BPMN) are an advantage
- Project Management certification such as PRINCE2 or PMP is an advantage.
