We're looking for an experienced, Access Control Specialist, to join our SOC National Intelligence Division team! The Access Control Specialist (ACS) is responsible for providing secure, controlled entry and exit to restricted government facilities.
Requirements
- Ability to conduct identity verification and operate credentialing systems (e.g., CAC, government-issued badges).
- Competence in operating X-ray machines, walk-through metal detectors, and handheld metal detection devices.
- Knowledge of restricted/prohibited item lists and enhanced screening procedures.
- Strong situational awareness and ability to identify security anomalies.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs., and meet government vision/hearing and physical fitness requirements.
- Professional communication skills to interact with employees, visitors, and law enforcement personnel.
- Ability to de-escalate conflicts and maintain professionalism under pressure.
- Proficiency in following detailed procedures and maintaining accurate logs and inventory controls.
