Supplier Quality Engineer

We are looking for a dedicated Supplier Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team in Texarkana, TX. The successful candidate will play a critical part in ensuring that our suppliers consistently deliver high-quality products and services.

Requirements

• Conduct supplier quality audits to assess new and potential Supplier process capabilities, Quality System compliance and risk.
• Implement and manage a supplier corrective action program that will assure timely response times and effective Root Cause Corrective Actions to open issues and concerns.
• Utilize a Supplier development program to assure that Day & Zimmermann receives quality products on time, every time, cost effectively.
• Provide guidance to Receiving Inspection on inspection techniques and supplier documentation review.
• Support/create a supplier quality rating system that will effectively monitor and measure supplier performance.
