Job Description
The Advocacy and Resource Center seeks an energetic and motivated Registered Nurse to work with people with disabilities. The nurse will provide direct care, ensure medical well-being, and enforce compliance with medical regulations.
Requirements
- License and current registration as a Registered Nurse by the New York State Department of Education.
- Minimum of one year previous salaried nursing experience.
- Previous experience with the Developmentally Disabled preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Reliable transportation and a clean, valid NYS driver’s license.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
- Proficiency in agency computer software.
- Ability to bend, twist, kneel, climb stairs/ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs.
