Job Description
The Child Life Specialist will assess patients, facilitate coping techniques, provide play opportunities, and support patients and families. They will also maintain records and supervise volunteers and students.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in child Life or closely related field.
- Completion of Child Life Internship prior to hire.
- Association of Child Life Professionals (ACLP)- Child Life Certification Exam ready prior to hire.
- Certified Child Life Specialist (CCLS) certification within 1 year of employment.
- 1-3 years pediatric healthcare experience
