High School Social Studies Teacher/Advisor (2026-27)

The Dayton Early College Academy (DECA) is seeking a High School Social Studies Teacher/Advisor to serve as an advocate and guide for students' learning. The ideal candidate will be a positive role model, demonstrate a supportive attitude, and have a passion for learning. The teacher/advisor will implement DECA's mission and core values, develop relationships with students and families, and facilitate student learning plans. The successful applicant will have a valid teaching license, effective interpersonal skills, and a broad range of interests and experience. Prior relevant experience and knowledge in core content areas are preferred.

• Valid teaching license/certificate for the assigned grade, and/or subject(s)
• Effective interpersonal skills with children and adults
• A broad range of interests and experience, with a passion for learning
• Solid, basic knowledge in core content areas
• Prior relevant experience preferred
