Job Description
As a Mechanical Engineer at Aitken, you will provide support to and management over engineering operations, including design implementation, design calculations, production drawings, estimate specific opportunities, and corresponding procedure documentation. You will also conduct bore/flow calculations, complete RFQ breakdown and proposal submission, and ensure conformance to all policies and procedures. Additionally, you will provide technical support for sales team, customers, and production team, and conduct code calculations for ASME pressure vessels.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (PE license preferred)
- At least five (5) years of related experience
- Ability to read and interpret technical and legal documents
- Knowledge of ASME piping code standards
- Frequent use and knowledge of SolidWorks, AutoCad, Codeware Compress, and MS Office Suite
- Intermediate level of knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
