Dishwasher / Kitchen Steward

DBS is seeking hardworking and dependable individuals for the role of Dishwasher / Kitchen Steward. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dishwashing areas, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking appliances are clean and sanitized.

Requirements

• Efficiently wash, dry, and store dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area and kitchen facilities.
• Assist in food preparation by washing and cutting vegetables as needed.
• Remove trash and recyclables from the kitchen area regularly.
• Follow food safety and sanitation protocols to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
• Support kitchen staff with additional tasks as needed to facilitate a smooth workflow.
• Participate in training sessions and safety meetings as required.
