Medical Examiner Investigator

The Medical Examiner Investigator performs specialized work in investigating deaths that occur in Dekalb County, receiving and reviewing notifications of death, investigating deaths, securing death scenes, conducting interviews, and documenting investigative information.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Two years of investigative and/or medical experience
• Valid Georgia driver's license
• Preferred: Associates to Bachelor's degree in a related field, LPN or RN
