Job Description
Prepares pipe and related fittings for the automated welding process using the Rotoweld system, rotates between 4 specific roles, and assists crew members to maintain work flow and achieve job hour and timeline goals.
Requirements
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and welding principles
- Operate cutting torches, barrel burners, saw, and bevel machine
- Fit up pipe and fittings and tack weld using TIG welding
- Maintain constant throughput on the Rotoweld automated welding machine
- Perform visual inspections of work pieces to ensure quality
- Operate overhead crane and forklift
